What site can i go to to remove viruses from my computer and all that other stuff that tears a pc up

i don't want to scan and all of that just to get to the end and it says PAY.

I want it to be FREE.. I cannot afford anything extra right now and if anyone knows a place i can go to to get rid of viruses,ad/spyware and to check my cmputer for FREE and it will get rid of what it finds let me know. thank you

Avast! antivirus and AVG antivirus are Free and good. I used avast for a long time.

Depending on your internet provider, they may provide free virus protection. Check with them. For spyware, download the Yahoo! toolbar with Anti-Spy. It works like a charm.

run the antivirus

update it every day

and for spyware and adware

Then find programs like S%26D Spybot or Ad-Aware.. Those are free..Upload a program called "spyware blaster" that will prevent hi-jackers and other nuisances uploading on your computer..

For viruses, you may have to purchase a removal software.. I can t seem to find any free virus removal programs on the internet... Unless, someone that answers your question has something..
