If no resolution through google then is there a web specific service or something that I could use to get cached webpages other then through google?

Were you using some sort of tool to do the initial search?

As for cached pages, there is the Wayback machine but it may not have all the pages you need.

Or, if you're looking at a site's home page, you can see thumbnails on places like Alexa or domainTools.
