How many anti virus and spy ware?

how many anti virus and spyware should I have installed?

I`ve got AVG free, Avast, Spy doctor, peer guardian 2, kerio firewall, and windows defender.

Is this overkill?

I sometimes think that i should have a few more spyware, which ones would be good to down load?

You only need one! otherwise sometimes they cannot work well together, pick what one you think is best and then uninstall the other one completely, and if you think one of your anti-virus has missed some viruses out, just use an online scanner. Windows defender isn't really that good, i'd recommend spybot search and destroy and superanti-spyware (Free Home Edition) Firewall is okay
Have only one anti-virus and one anti-spyware in real-time as it can cause problems having more than one active.
