Can I have 2 anti-virus programs in my computer?

I already have the AVG Free Edition, and an anti-spyware program. Now I want to try the NOD32, cause everyone says that it's really good.

You can install TWO, but have the other disabled when you install and use the other one. Then disable the new one and enable the old one.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

No, it is useless to have two antivirus in the computer.
It's possible. But in most cases it causes a lot of problems.
Usually it is not a good idea to have two antivirus softwares in one computer. However it is possible to have more than one the condition being only one run at a time. Usually one software will take other as a serious threat.

You can however install different types of softwares like AVG, Spybot-Search%26Destroy and Winpatrol
i have actually 2. AVG and SUPERAnti spyware. it's good.
It is usually not a good idea to have two running at the same time. Virus checkers delve very deep into the OS, having two could result in unforeseen consequneces.
Why not? But your computer will become slower!
simple answer, No, if you want to try the nod32 antivirus, you will first have to uninstall AVG completely, otherwise they will clash and your computer will slow right down and possibly crash.
yes
I know AVG works with Norton and PC-Cillin not too sure about NOD32 ... worst case is you uninstall AVG and if you don't like NOD ... reinstall AVG ... I think you're better off sticking with AVG and running a second or even third spyware program
No.... They may collide among themselves even though they doesn't give you the warning ....

If you think NOD32 is better than AVG , i suggest that you just uninstall AVG and just using NOD32 ..... Like that will prevent any collision between them ....
don't it wrecks the computer badly remove the other one than install the new one
It isn't advisable, Most don't play well together and have a tendency to do some very bad things to your computer and in some cases will make your computer inoperable.
