I would like to download DVDShrink from mrbass.org, but could anyone tell me if its virus free and if it has any spyware or malware in it if I download it there? Is it a safe download?

It probably is.. I've never downloaded anything from there before. I have downloaded from http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tool...
with dvdshrink and other software and it seems to have been fine.
it is, 3.2 was the last version they made and it is a little old.dvdfab is a better application for backing up your home videos
