Well yes you can get rid of spyware. Fairly easily. I will put a link in this answer where you can get free software program that you can use to get rid of spyware. The first one I recommend is called Spybot. You can download the free version at this site.

Make sure you save it somewhere where it will be easy to find, like your desktop. After the download is finished just double click on the downloaded program and follow the install instructions that pop up.

There are a variety of other antispyware programs out there, free and pay ones, that will also work. I have been using Spybot along with a couple of other ones as well, AVG Antispyware, and AdAware, for years and they have helped me keep my computer clean and running well.

I was going to put a link in here for AVG Antispyware as well but I just found out they are no longer giving this program away for free. You can still get it but it is now packaged as part of AVG's suite of protection programs.
