does anyone know of a FREE software to prevent and delete trojans/spyware from your computer. I have warning signs saying tht i have spyware running on my computer but nortan anti virus isnt picking it up. i need one that just targets spyware.

Norton has got spyware built in. If these messages are coming up while you are surfing the net, its probably adverts TRYING to get you to buy spyware software.
Check your Norton package is all up to date with spyware definitions. You should be ok!

Microsoft has one called windows defender,Just look on their website.
Try spybot search and destroy you can download it from www.downloads.com
not all the free will do that as some of the free cary spware in it try this to remove trojans

sorry but usually, antivirus have built-in spyware. You can try downloading free updates from the net
AVAST is great! It's free, plus has a very nice skinnable GUI, which has nice animations and sounds
