How can I remove security toolbar 7.1 when SiRi's Smitfraudfix and roguefix 2.58 can't do

SiRi's Smitfraudfix doesn't work.i meticulously followed the steps in the site.i've tried updating it but it said it's the latest one. i've tried roguefix 2.58 which worked for me in the past bu to no avail. i've tried buttloads of other anti-spyware like avg formerly ewido, spynomore which ain't free and trend micro's anti-virus/anti-spyware program.

i'm in desperate need,maybe someone can help.pretty please...

Try this (a procedure I have used successfully to clean out Smitfraud variant on an extremely infected computer).

Turn off System Restore (right-click My Computer, choose Properties, then System Restore tab) and restart in SAFE mode (F8 while restarting).

NOTE: If you have been unable to update antivirus and spyware protection, you may need to restart in Safe mode with Networking--but try straight SAFE mode first. (With networking might allow you to update your antivirus and spyware protection.)

While in safe mode, run full-system scans, spyware and virus.

Restart your computer. Turn System Restore back on (same steps as above, to turn it off.)

Now, create a clean system restore point. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

Might be a good idea, too, to clean your registry. I use CCleaner (google it; it is free); "issues" on its menu. Backup the registry changes first, when it offers, just in case.
