In addition, is there any free program you can suggest that doesn't have either, spyware, adds, addware, pop-ups, trial period or constent requests to upgrade?
How Do I increase the compression rate of the Windows Built in Zip archiver?
I don't think you can increase the compression rate because it's a constant, not a variable. You might like this free utility called 7-Zip. It's 100% freeware and it seems to work pretty well. The only time you'll get a request to upgrade is when they come out with a newer version :-)
