I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 that has crashed before, been fixed and wored like a charm, last night I read about viruses and trojans and freaked.
So as I looked through my comp I found no Anti- spyware! I did however find that I have AVG- free Anti- Virus and a Windows Security Firewall on... I never had a virus in the vault with a AVG so never any worries... and my AVG keeps updating every time the comp starts up... I was still skeptical so I downloaded Spyware Doctor and it found 306 infections! I deleted all of them and I dont even know what they were! I read it was good to have two anti- spyware systems so I downloaded AVG Anti-spyware which found 39 more! Some were with my google toolbar.
So my issue is that my comp is slower starting up and opening folders... my Internet is also slower and I wonder if I need two anti spyware with windows firewall and anti- virus? Did the stuff I deleted need to go? and how do I look at my DNS? What files can be deledted on my comp?

You still have hidden spyware, eating your memory resources...
Free products aren't always reliable and why in the world do you use Windows Firewall?

And Use Webroot Spyware Sweeper (Paid version ,or free version best for anti-malware) + Threat Fire
